Education

Dr. Prikhodko's academic roots lie in the prestigious Pavlov First Saint Petersburg State Medical University. 1980: Graduated in Stomatology (Maxillofacial focus). 1988: Defended his PhD Thesis (Candidate of Medical Sciences). Thesis Topic: "Clinical and Surgical Treatment of Basal Cell Carcinoma of the Head and Neck in Outpatient Settings." Significance: In this thesis, Dr. Prikhodko developed a new classification system for Basal Cell Carcinoma for practitioners. He was among the first in the world to introduce skin plastic surgery techniques for closing tumor wounds in an outpatient clinic, avoiding the need for hospitalization. Mentors: His research was supervised by the luminaries of Soviet medicine, Prof. V.A. Dunaevsky (Surgical Stomatology) and Prof. V.V. Martynyuk (Oncology).
